Israel to Gradually Raise Minimum Wage by 13.2 Pct

JERUSALEM, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) — Israel will gradually raise the minimum wage by 13.2 percent, the country’s Finance Ministry and the Israeli largest workers’ union Histadrut said in a joint statement on Wednesday.

The minimum wage will be increased in five steps from 5,300 shekels (about 1,689 U.S. dollars) to 6,000 shekels by the end of 2025.
